Be part of GALP
The GALP Group of Participatory Local Action will be the institution regulating the management of the FEMP assistances, the substitute of GAC until 2020. It is not constituted yet, since its creation is subsequent to the design and approval of the Participatory Local Development Strategy in which we are working on.
It will be integrated by the managers of the fishing brotherhoods, Councils, and Social Associations and Organizations from the territory. All of them will take decisions about the use of the FEMP funds. That´s why, if you are involved in one of them, you can get informed.
Social Associations and Organizations Requirements
- Being a non-profit entity and formally constituted.
- Have headquarters or working in one or several regions of the Seno of Fisterra-Muros e Noia Estuary: Fisterra, Cee, Corcubión, Dumbría, Carnota, Muros, Outes, Noia and Porto do Son.
- Not to be part of other GALP on constitution.
- Represent interests from a collective.
¿Who decides which entities became part of GALP?
Everyone. It is an agreement process. Those entities able to remember a common strategy will be part of GALP.
- Business Administration Organizations and Professional Associations of fishing, hotel industry, tourism and any other sector.
- Associations with Social Character that represent a group of our regions: women, young, people with special needs, etc…
- Cultural, Sports and Nature Defense Associations.
…in brief, any group having something to say and ready to create a Sustainable Coastal Territory.
